The 2024 Digital HR Prize marked a significant milestone in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to the field of human resources. This event, which was held at the Vaudoise arena, rewarded innovative projects which illustrate how AI can be exploited to improve human resources management, strengthen employee autonomy and transform HR practices. The Mantu group stood out for its innovative approach integrating AI, while other organizations were praised for their efforts in digitalization and improving working conditions.
The Digital HR Prize: a celebration of innovation
Since its creation in 2019 by specialists Laetitia Kulak and Fanny Comba, the Digital HR Prize has become an unmissable event for professionals in the sector. The objective is to highlight projects that use digital transformation as a strategic lever to improve working conditions. During the 2024 event, eight finalists presented their projects in the categories of more and less than 400 collaborators, in an atmosphere often marked by original staging.
AI and HR: a promising alliance
The business category, with more than 400 employees, saw the Mantu group stand out with its project focused on artificial intelligence. With 11,500 employees, including 500 in Switzerland, Mantu has invested in AI to optimize the functioning of its human resources. The company introduced training to familiarize its teams with AI and funded access to advanced versions of software like ChatGPT to help employees with their daily tasks.
AI tools for employees
Among the innovations presented by Mantu, an “HR ChatBot” is being developed to answer employees’ frequently asked questions. This bot is designed to provide quick answers on leave, pay slips and internal procedures. This initiative aims to increase employee autonomy while reducing the workload of HR teams.
The thoughtful integration of AI
Another tool put forward by Mantu uses AI to analyze CVs and support the recruitment process by matching skills with available positions. However, it is essential that recruiters maintain a central role in the process, to ensure that final decisions are made with discernment. The company has also developed an AI charter to guide its deployment in an ethical and thoughtful manner.
