Data Challenges in health: an initiative to promote innovation in the medical field

The Health Data Hub, in partnership with the ministerial delegation for digital health and the health innovation agency attached to the general secretariat for investment, announced its support for three new Data Challenges in health in 2023. These data science competitions aim to improve medical diagnostics through innovative solutions. Since 2020, there are now 10 challenges that have been supported by these bodies.

DataSpell 2023.1: a major new version for the JetBrains IDE dedicated to data science

The first major update of the year for DataSpell, JetBrains’ integrated development environment (IDE) for data science, was launched in March 2023. This version notably provides:

• Support for multiple projects with distinct environments.
• Productivity boosters for Notebooks, making the work of developers and researchers easier.
• Improvements for DataFrames, including easier access to column type information.

The next major version is currently in development and promises even more features to simplify and optimize the work of data scientists.
