Understanding Meta’s Use of Data Meta recently updated its Terms of Service to inform users that their photos, videos, and comments may be used to train its artificial intelligence tool. This includes all public information such as posts and comments shared on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.Protecting your data on Facebook On Facebook, to object to this use, go to your profile at the top or bottom right of the home screen. Then, open the menu and go to « Privacy Settings, » then to the « Privacy Center. » There, a link to « opt out » is located in the second paragraph. For Instagram, the process is similar.
