Organized by Multimedia and Internet (MMI) students at the IUT, this event includes an immersive escape game for students and an evening discussion open to the public, addressing the themes of ethics and the future of AI. This will be an opportunity to discover the many facets of this technology in the company of specialists and artists. A bold student initiative Driven by students from the Saint-Dié University Institute of Technology (IUT), the « CTRL_ » project was launched as part of their final-year project. The highlight of this event is undoubtedly the escape game.An immersive experience developed by students. This game was entirely designed by and for them, including the games, sets, and visuals. It aims to develop not only cooperation but also analytical and critical thinking skills. Each group of students will have a few hours to solve puzzles and « take back control » in this fictional world. This fun and educational experience will allow them to grasp AI in an original way. An evening discussion open to all In addition to the escape game, an evening discussion will be held on Thursday, January 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This event is open to the public and will address crucial points such as ethics and the future of artificial intelligence. The discussions will be led by Samuel Nowakowski, a lecturer and researcher at the University of Lorraine, specializing in artificial intelligence and digital humanities, and Julien Cuny, an artist from Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, who will share his experience using AI in his field. Discussion on Ethics and the Future of AI One of the major themes of the evening will be ethics in artificial intelligence. The two speakers will highlight the ethical issues related to the development and adoption of these technologies in different spheres of society.
