From September 17th to 19th, the Faculty of Law of the University of Grenoble Alpes is organizing AI Week for the first time, a pioneering event labeled « Tech&Fest. » Located at the Saint-Martin-d’Hères university campus, this unique event focuses on the application of artificial intelligence in the legal field. The program features various immersive formats, including enriching lectures and practical workshops led by industry experts, offering a unique opportunity for professionals and students to explore the potential of legal tech. The Pioneering Initiative of the Université Grenoble Alpes The Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) is positioning itself at the forefront of innovation by organizing the first « AI Week » in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Institute in Artificial Intelligence (MIAI Cluster) and the Center for Legal Research. This event promises to be a must-attend event for the Tech&Festcommunity in 2026.It is within this framework that the Faculty of LawUGA will host a series of activities and initiatives on its campus to encourage the adoption of artificial intelligence in the legal sector. Starting in September 2025, second-year undergraduate students will also have access to a Legal Artificial Intelligence course to better understand the transformations underway in the legal profession. Conferences and Training Sessions AI Week will offer a series of conferences led by renowned legal experts, academics, and representatives of innovative legal tech companies. These discussions will enable participants to understand the strategic and operational challenges of integrating artificial intelligence tools into legal processes. Topics covered will include the legal implications of AI, the evolution of legal practices, and the ethical challenges associated with automation. This series of conferences is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the transformative possibilities that AI offers to the legal field. Technological Innovation and Testing CenterOne of the highlights of AI Week will be the legaltech forum, where more than 15 innovators will showcase their legal AI solutions. Attendees will be able to attend demonstrations and engage with developers to gain practical skills on these new technologies.

In addition, an AI tool testing center will allow attendees to directly implement these innovations. This hands-on approach will provide an enriching experience to better understand and master the use of AI technologies in a professional setting.
