With the rise of generative artificial intelligence, traditional academic assessment systems such as dissertations and written exams are undergoing a transformation. Teachers and institutions must adapt their methods to integrate these technologies while preserving the value of degrees. This transformation involves a redefinition of educational objectives and a reassessment of the skills truly emphasized in assessments. Changes Imposed by Artificial Intelligence Tools Since their introduction, artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot have revolutionized the educational landscape. These tools, capable of generating coherent and rich text, challenge the very nature of traditional exams.
