The call to action for a more ethical AI
On March 22, 2023, an open letter titled “Discontinuing Giant AI Experiments” was published on the Future of Life Institute website.. This letter asked AI labs to suspend training of AI systems more powerful than GPT-4 for at least six months to focus on creating more accurate, safe, interpretable, transparent, robust AI. , aligned, trustworthy and loyal.
